In fact, hypertension accelerates the progression of renal disease damages other target organs leading to worsening failure increased incidence cardiovascular morbidity mortality. Method We conducted retrospective, cross-sectional study at Department Nephrology Mongi Slim Hospital, we studied relation between blood pressure levels CKD stages. The stage chronic kidney (CKD) was defined according KDIGO 2012 classification. Results A total 89 were recruited this study. mean age 69,19 years (rang 30-96) gender ratio M/F 1,225. who had 41 (46,06%). noted presence 3 or more 64 (71.91%) among whom 32 . Ectopic fat depots may mediate local and systemic disease. Animal models of diet-induced obesity demonstrate increased fat accumulation in the renal sinus. The association of renal sinus fat with hypertension, chronic kidney disease, and other metabolic disorders has not been studied in a large, community-based sample. Participants from the Framingham Heart Study (n 2923; mean age: 54 years; 51...

Chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD) is a chronic multisystem disease with a considerable burden. One of its most common complications is pulmonary artery hypertension (PAH). It has been demonstrated that the development of PAH is correlated with decreased quality of life and survival. Different medications have been proposed for the treatment of PAH, among which one can name statins. Howeve...

Obesity is a major risk factor for essential hypertension, diabetes, and other comorbid conditions that contribute to development of chronic kidney disease. Obesity raises blood pressure by increasing renal tubular sodium reabsorption, impairing pressure natriuresis, and causing volume expansion via activation of the sympathetic nervous system and renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system and by phy...
